CAUTION: Keep
an eye on your alkalinity level. The continued use of Chlorine tablets
will lower your pH and your alkalinity.
Check water level often.
Proper water level needs to be maintained at all times.
Common sense is the best thing to go by,
If
the water smells or looks funky, change it.
Make sure your
filter is clean and installed properly.
A dirty filter causes a lack of circulation leading to green water and
NO FLOW for the heater
Use Lithium Hypo-chlorite and 1"
Chlorine tablets. This combination has worked extremely well in most situations.
A properly fitted, quality cover will save you from higher energy
bills due to heat lose and evaporation.
Use an
Ozone machine. This will greatly reduce the amount of
chemicals you need to add to your spa /hot tub and you should be able to
"Widen your window" for drain and cleans.
